Terms of Use & Service needs to be read, understood & agreed by a user before initiating any kind of transaction with us.

This web site, https://duepe.com is published and maintained by Ecobyte Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (“Duepe”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”). When the user accesses, browses or uses this website or platform, the user (“User”, “You”, “Your”) accepts, without limitation or qualification, the terms and conditions set forth herein below. When the User accesses any other website through this website, then such other website may have its own terms and conditions of use which is specific to such other website. These Terms of Use and any additional terms posted on this website together constitute the entire agreement between Duepe and the User with respect to use of this website/services. In the case of any violation of these terms and conditions, Duepe reserves its rights to seek all remedies available in law and in equity for such violations.

All materials provided on this website are only for the specific purpose of enabling Users to access and use Duepe services. User shall not distribute, exchange, modify, sell or transmit anything that User copies from this website, including but not limited to any text, images, audio and video, for any business, commercial or public purpose without prior written consent. As long as the User is complying with these Terms, Duepe grants to User a non–exclusive, non–transferable, limited right to enter, view and use this website. The User agrees not to interrupt or attempt to interrupt the operation of this website in any way. Access to certain areas of the website/platform may only be available to registered members. All materials including software are property of Duepe and protected by applicable copyright and other intellectual property laws.

The User agrees that User will not use any robot, spider, other automatic device, or manual process to monitor or copy our web pages or the content contained herein without our prior expressed written permission. User agrees that User will not use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of this website. User agrees that User will not take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure.

By continuing to use this website after any changes, the User is indicating acceptance of those changes. Duepe may add, change, discontinue, remove or suspend any other content or service features, temporarily or permanently, at any time, without notice and without any liability. Duepe reserves the right to undertake necessary steps to ensure security, safety and integrity of Duepe systems, including verifying and confirming authenticity and validity of transactions committed by the User.


Eligibility

The services are not available to persons under the age of 18 or to anyone previously suspended or removed from the services by Duepe. By accepting these Terms & Conditions or by otherwise using the Services or the Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have not been previously suspended or removed from the Services. You represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into this Agreement and to abide by all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement. You shall not impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation with any person or entity.


Duepe Recharges (Mobile / DTH)

Duepe is a reseller only. Duepe does not provide mobile or DTH services and is only a reseller of prepaid or postpaid mobile services and/or DTH services by telecommunications service providers or other distributors/aggregators of such services (the “Service Provider(s)”). Duepe is not a warrantor, insurer, or guarantor of the services to be provided by the Service Provider(s). Recharge sold by us to you is sold without recourse against us for any breach of contract by the Service Provider(s). Any disputes regarding the quality, validity, minutes provided, pricing, expiration, or other terms of the recharge purchased must be handled directly between you (or the recipient) and the concerned Service Provider(s).


Bill Payments (BBPS and Other Bill Payment Services)

To use the Service, you may need to obtain access to the World Wide Web and pay any service fees associated with such access. In addition, you must have all equipment necessary to make such connection. Duepe and/or Duepe’s business partners reserve the right to charge and recover from the User fees for availing the Services. Such changes shall be effective from the time they are posted on the Duepe Website or through the channel via which you are availing the Service. You are bound by such revisions and should review applicable fees from time to time.

For bill payments (including BBPS services), User undertakes to provide complete, correct and requisite information for making the payment. Failure to provide complete/correct information may entitle Duepe to reject the transaction, suspend or terminate User’s account for future operations. Duepe shall not be responsible for any liability arising due to reasons including but not limited to: (i) insufficiency of funds; (ii) incorrect/incomplete information; (iii) discrepancy or rejection by biller/service provider; (iv) reasons beyond control of Duepe; (v) rejection by bank or financial institution as per their procedure. Duepe shall intimate the User about failed payments wherever applicable.


AEPS (Aadhaar Enabled Payment System) – Withdrawal / Deposit / Balance Inquiry

Duepe provides AEPS services as a facilitator in association with partner banks and authorized service providers. Duepe does not itself offer banking services and is not responsible for approval or rejection of any AEPS transaction. AEPS transactions are subject to successful Aadhaar-based authentication (including biometric/OTP where applicable), system availability, partner bank approvals, and applicable rules/regulations prescribed by relevant authorities.

Users are solely responsible for ensuring correct Aadhaar details, bank selection, beneficiary/customer identity verification (where applicable), and transaction amounts before initiating any AEPS transaction. Duepe shall not be held liable for failed transactions, delayed settlement, service interruptions, incorrect debits/credits, or issues arising from biometric mismatch, bank downtime, network failures, or regulatory restrictions. Limits, charges, and settlement timelines are governed by the partner bank/service provider and may change from time to time.


Bus & Travel Booking Services

Duepe acts solely as an intermediary between users and third-party service providers, including bus operators, travel agencies, hotels, and other travel service providers, for facilitating ticket reservations and travel-related bookings. Duepe does not own, operate, manage, or control any transportation, accommodation, or travel services. All bookings are subject to availability and the terms and conditions of the respective service providers, including pricing, boarding/check-in requirements, cancellation and rescheduling rules, refund timelines, and service-specific policies.

Duepe shall not be responsible or liable for delays, cancellations, route changes, service disruptions, overbooking, force majeure events, or any loss, injury, inconvenience, or damages arising from the actions, omissions, or services of the respective travel/transport service providers. Refunds, if applicable, shall be processed strictly in accordance with the service provider’s cancellation and refund policies and within timelines prescribed by such providers/aggregators.


Domestic Money Transfer (DMT)

Duepe facilitates domestic money transfer services in association with banks and authorized payment system providers. Duepe shall not be responsible in any manner whatsoever for any delay in domestic money remittance services due to reasons attributable to the bank/NPCI/RBI or any statutory/governmental authority or reasons beyond Duepe’s control.

User agrees to be bound by all applicable terms and conditions of partner banks/service providers for domestic money transfer services. Users are responsible for ensuring correctness of beneficiary details including name, bank account number, IFSC code and mobile number before initiating a transfer. Duepe shall not be liable for failed transactions, delayed credits, or losses arising due to incorrect beneficiary details, bank outages, technical failures, regulatory restrictions or force majeure events.

User confirms that KYC details provided are true and authentic and that funds used for any transaction are not derived from proceeds of crime. Duepe reserves the right to conduct checks, request additional information, refuse or reverse transactions, or report suspicious activity as required under applicable laws.


User’s Obligations

a) General Obligations: The User shall access the site only for lawful purposes and shall be responsible for complying with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations in connection with use of this website/services. The User shall not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information, products or services obtained from this Website. User shall not create a hypertext link to the Website or “frame” the Website without permission.

b) Information Provided: Information provided by the User during registration and use of services must be complete and accurate. Duepe reserves the right to disclose any information as it deems necessary to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

c) Use of the Services: User may only use the services to make legitimate transactions/payments. Any speculative, false or fraudulent transaction is prohibited.

d) User Responsibility: The User confirms that User is 18 years of age or above and has legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. User is responsible for the security of the password and for all transactions undertaken using his/her credentials. Duepe or its agents shall not be responsible for financial loss, inconvenience or damages resulting from use or misuse of User credentials or account/payment details.

e) Avoid double booking: If User attempts a transaction and due to technical error does not receive confirmation, User should check bank/account status or contact support before attempting another transaction. Duepe shall not be responsible for losses due to repeated attempts.

f) Disclaimer: The material displayed on this website could include technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. Duepe may make changes or improvements at any time.

g) Duepe does not warrant that the functions contained in this website will be uninterrupted or error free, but shall endeavor to ensure satisfactory performance and security.

h) User acknowledges that uninterrupted access may be prevented by factors outside reasonable control including internet/telecom failures or maintenance. Duepe shall not be liable for loss or damage arising out of inability to access/use the website.


Force Majeure

Duepe shall not be liable for delays or inabilities in performance or nonperformance in whole or in part of its obligations due to causes beyond its reasonable control, such as acts of God, fire, strikes, embargo, acts of government/statutory authority including NPCI/RBI, acts of terrorism, or other similar causes.


Safety of Data Downloaded

The User understands and agrees that availing any services through this website or any material/data downloaded is done at User’s own discretion and risk and User will be solely responsible for damage to systems or loss of data. Duepe will endeavor to ensure that content is free of viruses/malware.


Relationship

None of the provisions of these terms shall be deemed to constitute a partnership between the User and Duepe and no party shall have authority to bind the other in any manner.


Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Duepe intends to be subject to the jurisdiction only of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.


Limitation of Liability

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, neither Ecobyte Solutions Pvt. Ltd., nor its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees or related parties shall have any liability to users or to any third party for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages or any loss of revenue or profits arising under or relating to these terms, the site or the offerings. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our maximum aggregate liability to you for any causes whatsoever, and regardless of the form of action, will at all times be limited to the value of the transaction or Rs 500/- (rupees five hundred only) whichever is lesser.


Indemnification

User shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Duepe (Ecobyte Solutions Pvt. Ltd.) and its affiliates, officers, agents, representatives and employees from and against all claims, lawsuits, actions, demands, liabilities, expenses, judgments, settlements, and penalties arising from or relating to: (i) User’s breach/violation of these Terms; (ii) User’s violation of applicable law; (iii) fraud, negligence or misrepresentation by User; (iv) penalties imposed by any authority/bank due to acts/omissions of User; (v) User’s performance/non-performance of obligations under these Terms.


Dispute Resolution

User agrees that any dispute arising out of use of this website or availing Duepe services, shall first be resolved by amicable means and failure to resolve within 30 days shall entitle Duepe to refer the matter to arbitration conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed by Duepe. The proceedings shall be conducted as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended). The seat of arbitration shall be Bengaluru and proceedings shall be conducted in English. The award passed by the arbitrator shall be final and binding on the User.


Termination

User agrees that Duepe shall have the right to suspend or terminate User’s account wholly or partly or usage of services and/or User profile at any time. Duepe may also discontinue providing access to any services or part thereof, with or without notice.



PRIVACY POLICY

Duepe (Ecobyte Solutions Pvt. Ltd.) is committed to respect privacy and choice of its Users and business associates. This statement highlights our privacy practices regarding Personal Information that we hold.

Definition

For the purposes of this privacy policy, “Personal Information” means and includes information that can be linked to a specific individual, such as name, address, telephone number, email ID, bank/account related details, and service-related information voluntarily provided by the User in connection with availing services. Any information provided by the User in a public environment (blogs, forums, social networks etc.) is not confidential and is not subject to protection under this Privacy Policy.


Use of Personal Information

Duepe uses Personal Information for providing services requested by the User, to resolve disputes, troubleshoot concerns, promote safe services, process collections/refunds, assess User’s interest in services, inform Users about offers/updates, customize User experience, detect and protect against fraud and other criminal activity, enforce terms, and comply with applicable law.


Collection and Use of Non-Personal Information

Duepe may collect non-personal information about User such as browser type, device type, operating system, internet service provider, and other technical information. This information is used to improve our services. If combined with Personal Information, it will be treated as Personal Information.


How We Use Cookies

Cookies are small files placed on a device to analyze web traffic and remember preferences. Cookies help us understand user behavior and improve services. Users may accept or decline cookies through browser settings; declining cookies may limit functionality.


Advertising

Advertisements on Duepe services may be delivered by advertising partners who may set cookies. This Policy does not cover use of cookies by advertisers.


Disclosure of Data / Information

Duepe will not share Personal Information with external organizations unless necessary to provide services, complete legitimate transactions, comply with law, or respond to directions from courts/regulators/statutory authorities. Duepe may disclose information if required by legal process or governmental request, and may preserve information for investigation, fraud prevention, regulatory enquiries, and to prevent harm.


Observation of Reasonable Security Practices

Duepe takes reasonable precautions to maintain confidentiality of Personal Information by training employees and restricting access strictly on a need-to-know basis.

The website may contain links to other websites. When User clicks on such links, User enters another website for which Duepe takes no responsibility. Users are encouraged to read privacy statements/terms of those sites.


New Owner

If ownership or control of Duepe or all/part of products/services or assets changes, User information may be transferred to the new owner subject to applicable law.

Duepe may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and the same shall be made available on the website. Users are requested to review it periodically.



REFUND POLICY

Once a User initiates a transaction for any service on Duepe, such transaction may be irreversible depending on the service provider/bank/network rules. Refunds, if applicable, shall be processed only as per the policies of the respective partner bank/service provider/aggregator and as per applicable laws and regulations.

Transactions which have failed for any reason directly attributable to Duepe and where Duepe has received corresponding confirmation from the payment gateway/service provider may be refunded to the User’s original source account within 7–21 working days from the date of transaction. Only the actual transaction amount will be refunded excluding payment gateway charges and all applicable taxes.

For cases where User has received a successful completion confirmation but not received service, User is required to submit a complaint by sending an email to customer care. Duepe shall enquire the matter and based on enquiry may process refund/adjustment as per applicable partner/provider policies. In all cases, Duepe’s liability will be restricted to providing a valid refund to the extent of corresponding payment received by Duepe with respect to a particular transaction.
